Youth Ministry

The Royston Youth Ministry exists to “make disciples of Jesus who make disciples of Jesus.” We do this through providing irresistible and invitational environments for youth (grades 6-12) so that they may grow in their faith and understanding of who God is and how they can live as faithful disciples of Jesus Christ.

Students in grades 6-12 meet in the Youth Room on Sunday mornings beginning at 10 AM for small groups. The Youth Room is located on the second floor of the gym. During this time, students may dive deeper into the message from worship or share about current topics related to teenagers today.

THRIVE is a time each week where students gather for games, fellowship, worship, and discussion. We meet at 6 PM in the gym and usually wrap up around 7:30 PM.

Our students participate in a variety of local missions in the Royston area from serving at the Rainbow Pantry to assisting with summer camp for people with special needs.

During the summer, our students travel on a domestic mission trip in the southeastern part of the United States.

Cornerstone is a time for middle school and high school students to learn more about their faith and what it means to be a follower of Jesus as a member of the United Methodist Church. After an 8-week program that includes a retreat to Camp Glisson, students will have an opportunity to decide if they want to confirm the vows made at their baptism and profess their faith in Jesus Christ.
