We are a vital community of believers who take The Great Commission seriously.  God will bless our church and those who we serve because of our steadfast commitment to this fundamental calling from our Lord and Savior.

We believe in the authenticity of the Bible, and that scripture is the highest source of authority for God’s plan for God’s people. The Gospels are our foundation of what we believe, and what we do.

We strive to advance Christ’s kingdom in breadth and depth by being God’s hands and feet, by loving those in our lives as Christ first loved us. We give hope to the hopeless, shelter to the fatherless, a compass for the lost, a voice for those who cannot speak on their own.

Love God. Love Others.

Jesus taught us that these are the two greatest commandments: “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law? Jesus replied, ’Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” (Matthew 22:36-40)

As a United Methodist church built on the truth of the Bible, Royston First UMC shares the abiding love of God by caring for one another, and reaching into our neighborhoods, our community, and the world with the Good News of salvation.
