Making Disciples of Jesus from Birth through 5th Grade

The Royston Kids Ministry exists “to make disciples of Jesus who make disciples of Jesus.” We do this through providing irresistible and invitational environments for kids (birth through 5th grade) to grow in their faith and understanding of who is God.

Procedures

NURSERY

Nursery is available on Sunday morning during the worship service (10 AM) and during the Sunday School hour (11 AM). The nursery is located on the top floor of the main church building.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Sunday School meets on Sunday morning from 11 AM-12 PM upstairs in main church building. Sunday School is a small group environment where children are separated into classes based on age (2-preK and K-5) for a discussion on the day’s theme.

CHILDREN’S CHURCH

Children’s Church is offered each Sunday during our 10 AM Sunday morning worship service. This is a time for children to hear about Jesus in an age appropriate environment. Children’s Church includes a Bible-based message. On months when there are five Sundays, children are encouraged to worship with their families during our Family Worship Sundays.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

Kids ages 4 through 5th grade are invited to join us for Vacation Bible School for one week each summer from 5:30-8 PM. Together, we will learn about God and how we can live as disciples of Jesus Christ.

3RD-5TH GRADE RETREAT

Each fall, our 3rd to 5th grade students are invited to join us for a weekend retreat to Camp Glisson in Dahlonega, GA. This retreat is a time for our kids to get away, worship God, hear from a guest speaker, and have fun with each other as they learn about what God is doing their lives.
