These women also support local and international mission work, such as an annual Teacher's Lunch at Royston Elementary School and disaster-relief projects through the United Methodist Committee on Relief.

The Royston First UMW is made up of four "circles," each with its own once-a-month meeting schedule:

• Hope Circle - 3rd Monday, 7 p.m.
• Joy Circle - 3rd Thursday, 11 a.m.
• Love Circle - 3rd Monday, 7 p.m.
• Faith Circle - 3rd Wednesday, 11 a.m.

The four circles hold joint get-togethers three times a year, including a church-wide UMW Christmas party each December.
