1) The ability to truly and authentically worship God — The glue that sticks kids to Christ, uninterrupted for life, is worshiping God.  Authentic worship comes from truly knowing who God is.

2) Developing relationships with adult mentors while learning about God — Children are led to Christ through relationships with adult mentors who show and model Christ's love and grace.

3) Friendships with Christian peers — Children come to church, especially in the teen years, because of “who else will be there.” We need to develop these relationships now so they stay connected through the teen years.
